3. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Model

inneRVoice uses a BYOK model for AI services:

• You provide your own API keys from Anthropic (Claude) and/or OpenAI (GPT-4)
• API keys are encrypted with AES and stored locally on your device
• AI API calls go directly from your machine to the AI provider (Anthropic/OpenAI)
• We never see, store, or transmit your API keys to our servers
• We have no access to your conversations with AI providers

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• All data in transit is encrypted using SSL/TLS
• Passwords are hashed with bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
• API keys are AES-encrypted on your local device
• Desktop app uses content protection (hidden from screen sharing and screen recording)
• License data is encrypted with machine-specific AES-256-CBC keys
• Backend hosted on Railway with secure infrastructure

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

• Payment Providers: PayPal and Razorpay process your payment — we never store card details
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights
• Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
